The State of Texas has experienced a series of devastating disaster declarations in recent years, including Hurricane Harvey in August/September 2017. As a result, federal funding opportunities are available to assist our communities to recover and improve our level of protection and resiliency to future disasters.
This website provides a streamlined way to learn about disaster recovery grants and to explore potential grant funding opportunities. Important note, creating an account on this website cannot assure you will qualify for grant funding since ultimate decisions are made by state and federal agencies. However, compiling your information here can assist your efforts to pursue grant options which may be available.
See General Grant Information if you have an interest in disaster recovery grants and project types which may be available. This section allows you to access federal publications describing grant project types, and answers to frequently asked questions.
Select your jurisdiction that you live in (City of Orange or Hardin County) to Create an Account, and then submit specific information about your property.
